New Host

I just moved into a new host. My earlier hosts trial period finished and I found out that I cannot revert my trial unlimited account into cheaper home account. Sneaky people, trying to get more money from customers this way! Well they lost me now! HA.

My new host is totally free and they don't even force any advert into my site. YEAH! Works fine so far, no problems. Database is up and setup nicely. Lets see how it works.

Businesscard garden

The Dirt introduces us to this business card micro-terrain by Tur & Partner, landscape architects. It's a portable garden: impregnated with seeds, the paper eventually sprouts.it's "the first direct mail piece that needs watering."

The idea is has some thought, add some flower seeds and it's a great birthday card as well. Idea has it's potential. I think we might see it in cardshops in few years.

Lightbulb - a kinetic sculpture

Lightbulb uses a special bulb, inside which magnets and circuitry are hidden. Using a magnetic hall effect sensor, an electromagnet, and a modified PD feedback system, it floats a lightbulb stably in the air, while power is transmitted wirelessly from the base of the sculpture into the bulb. LEDs in the bulb rectify this AC power and convert it to light. Check the Jeff Liebermans
